Who We Are
Our teachers and administrators have over 50 years of homeschool experience as both teachers and students. Each of us is an expert in our field, often with professional or college degrees. We believe every child is unique and deserves an education that supports their individual growth.
We meet social needs with small-group classes, larger group activities, and teachers who support students as much as their parents do. Because social skills matter, we group students by social ability rather than strictly by grade. We believe this matching creates better long-term success.
Meet Our Instructors
My name is Jennifer Hall and I have been teaching for as long as I can remember. I started when I was being homeschooled myself and “got” to help teach my younger siblings how to read and write. My grandmother was a teacher and I loved the days I spent with her in her classrooms setting up the spaces for her students to use.
My homeschool education included many skills I have never used like anatomy, coding in three (now dead) programming languages, pottery, dissection and many others. On the other hand, I also learned many other skills that none of my friends knew that I have used over and over again like electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, grammar, written word, proofreading, spelling, cooking, canning, preserving food, sewing and living within a budget. I ended up growing up to be an accountant and raised four children of my own, three of whom are now in the financial world as well.
I have taught many people how to do many different things over the years and I love seeing people learn something new and watching their faces light up as they learn. I have taught at various homeschool programs since early 2016 and am delighted that I get to share the world with these amazing children.

Laura Feller
My name is Laura Feller. I serve as President of the Board for Art of Creative Expression and as Director of the ACE Theater Program. I bring over 25 years of experience working with children, including a background as a former professional dancer and instructor. For the past three years I have directed musical theater productions for young performers, and I have more than a decade of experience in nonprofit organizations, both as a volunteer and an employee.
As a homeschool parent of ten years, I am passionate about creating high-quality arts opportunities that serve and support the homeschool community. I love working with children and find great joy in watching them grow in confidence, creativity, and skill.
My name is Stefanie Harrington and I run the Makerspace class for ACE. It gives me great joy to create a safe and comfortable environment for children to explore their creativity using all sorts of different mediums. I have been a performer most of my life so we love to incorporate some sort of singing, dancing or storytelling in our classes. Throughout the years I have worked with children as a babysitter, daycare teacher, camp counselor and dance instructor. I am truly honored to be part of this incredible program and can't wait to see what the future holds for us!

My name is Cindy Fedor. I am the art teacher at ACE. I have had the privilege of teaching art to homeschool children for over six years. I graduated from Ben Lomond High School and was awarded an art scholarship to Weber State University, where I studied art for three years. After that I got married and became a stay-at-home mom to my four children.
I have loved creating art ever since I was seven years old. Now I am a professional artist who sells my own work and accepts commissions from anyone who requests them. I also teach private art lessons to children in my home.
I love working with children and sharing my passion for art with them. I believe children are naturally creative, so I make my lessons fun and engaging. My goal is to help each of my students find the joy in creating their own artwork each week at school.

My name is Jaime Allen. I teach Tech at ACE. I’ve spent my life asking, “What do I want to be?” I love creating, teaching, exploring, having adventures, and making people laugh, and I don’t expect to pick just one role.
My career is a mix of experiences that led me to entrepreneurship. For the past 10 years I’ve owned businesses and worked as a massage therapist. I graduated from Weber State with a BA in Outdoor Recreation (focus in Outdoor Entrepreneurship) and a minor in Entrepreneurship. In college I found web design, which let me build sites, design logos, and do SEO for my businesses and others.
Because technology shapes our world, I enjoy teaching tech at ACE and watching students apply new skills. I passionately homeschool my two children and believe students should learn at their own pace and in ways that suit them. I firmly believe opportunities to learn can be found in almost anything and I love finding new ways of teaching.

My name is Kristen Clay. I love being a part of the ACE experience. I have taught in a variety of homeschools for over a decade. I have been an acting coach for 35 years and a performer since I was a young child. I have an educational background in Social Work.
I have circled the globe as a storyteller, actor, teacher and perpetual student. In addition to being an author, acting coach, motivational speaker, creator and director of Story Tours: Ogden and SLC Ghost Tours, Hysterical History Tours and custom storytelling concerts, I am also known for bringing various cultures to life for audiences around the world. I have a passion for healing and inspirational stories that I have been privileged to share in schools, prisons, rehab facilities and with youth-in-custody.
My greatest joy is watching my students, audience members and readers make connections with different cultures and experiences, then remember their own stories, identity, dream and potential.
When I am not writing, performing or teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, spending time in nature, hanging out with friends and family and my menagerie of pets.
